AJC Boston 60th Anniversary Highlights

The 60th Annual Meeting & Celebration

The Greater Boston Chapter of the American Jewish Committee would like to thank everyone who supported our chapter by attending our 60th Annual Meeting & Celebration on September 14th.

Over 350 people were in attendance, including numerous leaders of the Greater Boston Jewish community, diplomats from 16 countries, and 12 professors from the Al Qasemi College of Education in Israel, which promotes a traditional commitment to Islam with the human rights values that flow from modernity.

Speakers at the event included David A. Harris, national Executive Director of AJC; Charles Steinberg, head of public affairs for the Boston Red Sox; Jim Kaufman, immediate past president of the AJC Greater Boston chapter; and Andrea Bonaiuto of Needham High School, recipient of this year’s Sherman H. Starr Human Relations Youth Award.
